About Us

Ondo State Project Implementation Unit

The Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) is a World Bank and French Development Agency (AFD) supported intervention project designed to improve rural transport infrastructure and construction of modern market called Agro-Logistic Hubs across communities in Ondo State.

The project aims at achieving State government rural development drive through Rural Roads Upgrading (RRU), Spot Improvement (SI), and Backlog Maintenance (BM) which will ease the movement of farm produce to the urban centers from the rural communities and also help to prevent post-harvest loses associated with bad access to the farms.

The project is equally designed to strengthen institutional and financing base for sustainable management of rural roads in Ondo state



Rehabilitation of rural access roads in order to improves seamless movement of agricultural produce to the market.

Reformation of the road sector that will ensure maintenance sustainability and management of roads and market infrastructure.



Construction of modern market to promote agro-logistic marketing thereby improve on socio-economic life of the rural dwellers.

RAAMP Objective

The overall objective of RAAMP is to improve rural access and agricultural marketing in selected participating states whilst enhancing sustainability of the rural and state road networks.

What We Do

We enhance transportation conditions and provide sustainable access to rural populations by rehabilitating and maintaining key rural transport infrastructure in selected Nigerian states.



Improve Rural Road Networks

Provision of rural access and transportation system that will facilitate the delivery of agricultural inputs and products.



Support agricultural marketing & logistics interventions

Strengthen the financing and institutional base for rural and state road networks, and support agro-logistics interventions to reduce post-harvest losses.



Strengthening Financial Base

Adopt better technology to scale up rural agricultural production, add value to increase prices of produce, generate youth employment, and reduce poverty and joblessness by enhancing productivity and production.
