The Ondo State Executive Council has approved N3.47 billion in counterpart funds for the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP). This initiative aims to asphalt feeder roads, connecting rural dwellers to cities and boosting the state’s economy through agriculture. Additionally, the council approved a solar-powered street lighting project to transform Akure into a smart city, reflecting the 21st-century sustainable development goals of Hon. Furthermore, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa has appointed Prince Adu Omotayo as the new Asinigbo of Isinigbo in Akure North Local Government Area. The council also approved the appointment of warrant chiefs for selecting a new Afa of Oke-Agbe in Akoko North West Local Government Area.
